Trustee / Non Executive Board Director
Beckenham/Lewisham, South London
Voluntary unpaid role
Quo Vadis Trust (www.qvt.org.uk) is a well-respected provider of supported housing to people with mental ill health in South London. The organisation has evolved since it was founded in the 1990s and has been a Company Limited by Guarantee and a Registered Charity since 2006.
We are looking for a number of Trustees to join our Board to contribute more oversight and guidance for our future strategy, supporting our excellent Chief Executive and her team.
The new Trustees will play a vital role in ensuring the proper procedures and policies are in place to manage the charity’s resources effectively, provide long-term vision and protect our reputation and values. The following skillsets have been identified as desirable: commissioning, mental health care and recovery, governance, finance, property and employment law. We are keen to talk to candidates who share our desire and energy to make a positive contribution to our clients’ lives in such a demanding political and economic climate.
Trustees are expected to dedicate a minimum of 12 days a year to their Board responsibilities. Board meetings are held quarterly, on Saturday mornings.
If you are interested in this role (or have any questions) please email your CV to one of our Trustees, Zena Everett, firstname.lastname@example.org. A prompt response will be welcome as we wish to engage new Trustees at the earliest opportunity.
