Chudleigh 2 is a large well-proportioned semi-detached house that comprises six bedrooms and is divided across 3 floors.
Chudleigh 2 forms a part of our Chudleigh Hub, also consisting of Chudleigh 1 and Elsiemaud. Wellness Housing Officers are on site Monday to Friday from 10:00 – 13:30 (exc. Bank Holidays). They offer enhanced housing management support, e.g. tenancy sustainment, benefits advice, budgeting and payment of tenancy related bills. Staff is able to signpost clients to other relevant agencies that do not relate to housing management and assist them with carrying out tasks associated with living in a communal home environment and in maintaining holistic wellbeing.
All clients throughout QVT have telephone access to our 24hr scheme at Verdant Lane SE6. There is also an out-of-hours on call manager to assist and support staff and clients in times of urgency.
Chudleigh 2 offers supportive ‘family style’ accommodation with an emphasis on ‘normal living’. Each member of the household has their own comfortable room and shares the communal areas including the lounge, a well equipped kitchen, a family sized bathroom and a beautiful mature garden with fruit trees at the rear of the property. There is a garden gate between both of our Chudleigh houses for ease of access for clients and staff.
Bedrooms are equipped with a single bed, bedside table, and wardrobe. Four of the bedrooms include en-suite facilities.
There is a very spacious fully furnished lounge with a flat screen television, large sofa and includes a computer that is available for use by all clients.
There is also a payphone available for use which is in the hallway next to the lounge.
