Adelaide Lodge is a large well-proportioned mid terrace house that comprises eight bedrooms and is divided across 4 floors including a basement. There is a big garden which is lovingly tended by the clients who live there currently.
Wellness Housing Officers are on site Monday to Friday from 14:30 – 18:00 (exc. Bank Holidays).
They offer enhanced housing management services, e.g. tenancy sustainment, benefits advice, budgeting and management of tenancy related bills. Staff also signpost clients to other relevant agencies that do not relate to housing management and assist them with carrying out the tasks associated with living in a communal home environment and in maintaining holistic wellbeing.
Adelaide Lodge offers supportive ‘family style’ accommodation with an emphasis on ‘normal living’. Each member of the household has their own comfortable room and shares the communal areas including the lounge, two well equipped kitchens, three toilets, a bathroom, and a shower room. There are mature gardens at the front and rear of the property.
Bedrooms are equipped with a single bed, bedside table, wardrobe, fridge and chest of drawers.
There is a comfortable lounge on the ground floor with sofas, chairs and an area by the window that overlooks the rear garden for sitting and dining. T.V. facilities are available as well as a computer with full internet access for clients use. A payphone is available in the hallway on the ground floor.
Laundry Facilities consist of a washing machine in the kitchen for shared use and a tumble dryer is also available and housed in the rear garden shed.
